THE ROYAL WEDDING
Celebrations in Rojales
Friday 29th April in the Rojales Market Place we will be internationally raising a glass for the newlyweds.
From 11am the ceremony will be shown live and there will be all sorts of music, competitions, games, foods and drinks for all ages, a wide variety of stalls as well as demonstrations.
Remember the street parties? This is a great reason to have an international day in the local area.
This event is in aid of Paul Cunningham Nurses in Association with Rojales Town Hall, supported by TKO and Sol Production.
Keep your eyes on the local press and we will update the event as is gets closer.
Anyone who wishes to participate with a stall or has ideas for games and competitions please contact us through The Royal Wedding in Rojales FaceBook page.
We are also looking for photos of the Silver Jubilee street parties to be used for local advertising.

Will there be any way to do a search for a topic later on, without going through every post?
The answer is yes, at the moment you can click on the post index button at the bottom of the page to see old post. The forum will grow very quickly so a better system will be put in place as well as a search box where you can type in what you are looking for. I hope that this will all be in place within a week.

The post and comments are in time order so your post is now first until someone adds a new one or makes a comment on an old post this will then become first.
If you click on the Post Index button at the bottom of the page this will show you all the old post, by clicking one on the list will bring it onto your screen.

LOCAL TAXI NEEDED
Hi,
We are looking to visit the resort in April and are wondering whether there are any local taxis available to pick us up from Alicante airport and what prices this would be. We would require a child car seat for the journey as we have an 18 month old son.

We know many who do airport runs but are 100% illegal. There are far too few taxis unfortunately & , as these often charge around 50% more, people choose to use illegal 'taxis' which are not insured for public conveyancing, often it's people who do it to supplement their pensions etc &, of course, don't pay tax on the earnings. For these reasons I never give out numbers for these. Nice earner though & plenty of takers. Is Phil 100% legal?
You are 100% correct blogwriter there are so many locals that will do the run for you in their private car. In this case Phil is legal, its the same company that does the car hire for 10 Euros per day, they offer it as a service for people renting from them but will also collect people that are not renting
I assume then that Phil has a "Tarjete de Transporte" which authorises him to transport passengers for reward. Having a taxi licence doesn't make the service or vehicle legal. If he has an accident the fare paying passengers will not be covered. Up to each of us to demand to see this paperwork.
PROPERTY CLEANERS KEYHOLDERS
Hi Will
we have an excellent cleaner for our rental property on Quesada. Our guests always comment on the immaculate condition of the villa particularly the bedding and linen. I can pass your details on to her if you wish.
We also have a key holder in case of emergencies but with regard to access for our guests into the villa we simply send keys through the post. This is a much more cost effective and manageable method for us.
